Gucci Bags - What's So Great About Them

1983 was a pivotal year for another important reason... The Gucci Cup becomes the Challenger series of regattas that will determine which yacht club meets the Defender. From the 3rd America's Cup in 1876 through the 20th competition in 1967 there was never more than one contestant for the role of Challenger!

In 2007 Gucci terminated almost a quarter of a century of sponsorship for the America's Cup competition. In 2011 the America's Cup Event Authority (ACEA) proudly announced the return of Gucci for the 34th America's Cup, with San Francisco Bay as the center arena.Viewing-boats will line the shore from the Bay Bridge, along Fisherman's Wharf, past Fort Mason and Crissy Field to Fort Point beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Other floating tail-gaiters will be anchored off Sausalito and Angel Island.

You may be wondering about Gucci replicas by now. They are easy to spot. Gucci bags have a unique smell because of the type of leather that is used. If you're not a leather smelling expert, check the lining. It's a mixture of canvas and cloth and the fabric grain is visible. The price will also tell you - Guccis don't come cheap, so if someone is offering you a cheap one, know straight away that it's a fake.
